It’s BYOE (bring your own e-reader) days at the library!

ereader 002Just in time for the new eReader you received over the holidays! The library will be having special drop-in hours so that you can bring your new eReader and get one-on-one help checking out free library eBooks.

Bring your eReader, the cord that came with it, your laptop computer (if you have one) and your library card.  Even if you don’t have your eReader with you (or have not bought one yet), we can help answer your eReader questions.

Tuesday, December 27th – 9:30 am – 6:00 pm
Thursday, December 29th – 9:30 am – 6:00 pm

Tuesday, January 3rd – 1:30 – 6:00 pm
Wednesday, January 4th – 9:30 am – 1:00 pm
Friday, January 6th – 9:30 am – 5:30 pm

BYOE Days is held at the Rochester Public Library in Meeting Room B (2nd floor).  There is no registration, just drop in during the designated times.

The library offers over 19,000 eBooks including popular fiction, non-fiction and children’s books – most of which are downloadable to today’s popular eReaders such as the Nook, Sony Reader, Kindle, iPad and others.  We also have downloadable audio books (3500+), music (500+ albums) and video (450+) for compatible computers and devices.
