A new book scanner at the library!

July 28, 2011

The library has a new book scanner!

Book ScannerThis new scanner is so easy to use, it has a touch screen that will guide you every step of the way.

You can scan a document or pages out of a book and send them to a printer or save them to a flash drive.

If you have any questions, ask any of the reference librarians, they will be happy to help you.

I just used this machine myself to scan a map. The large (at least 11×17″) scanner bed made it possible to scan the whole thing at once without having to scan twice and then later Photoshop it together. Two thumbs up for this scanner!

Oh, and please keep in mind…
