Young Adult Summer Reading Program

June 6, 2011

One World Many StoriesIt’s that time of year again.  School is ending and the summer reading program is starting.

Area youth ages 10 – 18 are encouraged to participate in the reading challenge.  They can keep track of their reading time using a paper reading log or online.

There is a variety of prizes for the summer reading program depending on how much time each person reads during the summer.  All prizes will be given out at the end of the summer.  Participants will be notified as to which prizes they have won and where they can pick them up.

The summer reading program brochure and website also have a list of programs for youth and families to participate in. This year we have Minnesota storytelling, mask making, library treasure hunt, feature films and ghost story programs.
