Email notices

Suggestion (11/2010):  Don’t wait so long to email notices that items are overdue.  Had I known sooner,I would have returned the CD immediately (along with items that were due.)   Then it would have only been one day late – not five days late.  I like it that you email two days in advance though when an item is due.  Keep that up please.

Library Response: Because of the two day courtesy notice, the ability to check due dates online and the slips that print with the due dates at the time of check out, we wait 5 days to send out another reminder.  We also want to avoid sending notices for material that has already been returned and not yet checked in, or returned at another library.  Thank you for your comment.
